| 10.04.10 | Harry Bosch goes to Hong Kong. Not quite as good as The Scarecrow in my opinion, but still quite gripping, excellently paced and smartly constructed thriller. It seems like the actual case mystery is truncated and convenient because Connelly used his page budget for the stuff with Bosch's daughter. On the one hand I admire his consistency - pretty much every one of his books is ~450 pages I believe - but on the other, this could've had a bit longer third act maybe. Oh well, still a good read. |
