| 08.25.11 | I went through a short but intense Survivorman phase a year or so ago. Someone was thoughtful and got me this book I guess as a semi-joke or just thought it would be a good gift. It is. It's basically a survival handbook written by Stroud - scratch that, ghost-written by Stroud - pulling everything he tried to show in his show together into a cohesive manual. It reads a bit dry but there's a bunch of pictures and a few drawings that help. Mostly, the book made me want to watch the show again. |
