| 01.06.21 | We're thinking about getting a new puppy. It's still months off but we started watching this guy's youtube videos. I figured we'd read the book just to cement some stuff in our heads. I'd heard of positive reinforcement training before but it was some far-off foreign concept that I couldn't really imagine. Turns out, I just needed way more patience and way more treats. I hope to put some of this stuff to work and save on chewed furniture and yapping around the house. It would be... unimaginable to have a dog that didn't try to run away forever as soon as the door opened. |
