10.13.23 | I've been reading various DnD materials for a while now. I read half of the issues of MCDM's Arcadia series then read through the finished pdf of this monster book when it was released, followed by dabbling with their lairs book as well. I'm kind of encapsulating all that into this one entry because Flee, Mortals! is the book that I technically read all of and it accounts for this massive hole in the journal. It was good! reading DnD rulesbooks is always its own kind of experience that doesn't translate into notes on this journal, but the gist is that the monsters have more to do with the intention of making their abilities describe their nature more than a piece of art and a collection of hitpoints. Anyway, almost all the authors i follow just dropped books so I'm back to reading fiction now and should have more entries on here soon. |
